Data Pipeline Overhaul — 7 Sources Repaired
A comprehensive data audit identified and fixed issues across 7 data ingesters. NASA fire hotspot data is flowing again, ABS export trade data now uses the updated ITGS dataflow, WA DPIRD weather stations have been migrated to the new api.agric.wa.gov.au endpoint with all 5 stations returning live data, and BOM dam storage coverage has increased from 12 to 18 dams. Failing ingesters now gracefully retain previous data instead of writing zeros.

Improved Cron Monitoring
When a nightly data ingestion run encounters errors, the system now logs exactly which data sources failed — making it faster to diagnose and resolve issues. Previously only a count of failures was recorded.

Wheat, cotton, canola, sugar, and almond prices now receive monthly trend updates from ABS export data, keeping directional signals current between annual ABARES releases. Beef and wool continue to update daily from MLA and Elders.
