Prices are sourced from ABARES (grains, oilseeds), MLA (beef EYCI), AWI/AWEX (wool EMI), Dairy Australia (farmgate milk price), and ABS (sugar, almonds). Each source is ingested daily via automated data pipelines.
Prices are updated daily. The 18 data ingesters run each morning (AEST), refreshing commodity prices alongside all other agricultural indicators.
The change percentage shows the movement from the previous reporting period. For most commodities this is week-on-week; for some (like the wool EMI) it follows the auction cycle.
